Biography

Jere Klein was born on January 1, 2001, in Santiago, Chile. His real name is Jeremías Klein, and he is of German and Jewish descent. He grew up in a musical family, as his father was a guitarist and his mother was a singer. He started rapping at the age of 13, inspired by artists like Eminem, Drake, and Bad Bunny. He began uploading his songs to SoundCloud and YouTube, where he gained a loyal fan base. He also participated in freestyle battles and rap competitions, where he showcased his skills and charisma. He is the artist behind the hit song "Mándame tu ubi", which has been trending on the TikTok social network. However, the artist has a wide discography, thus collaborating with different artists from the urban scene such as Jairo Vera, with whom he was friends for a long period of time.
In 2021, he was involved in a feud with the Argentine rapper Duki, who dissed him in his song “Malbec”. Duki mocked Klein's appearance, voice, and style, and called him a copycat and a wannabe. Klein responded with his own diss track, “Duki No Me Conoce”, where he defended himself and attacked Duki's credibility and relevance. The beef sparked a lot of reactions and debates among the fans and the media.
